In 2006, I helped start TeachMeet, a simple idea that grew into an international movement: teachers sharing what works with other teachers, without the conference machinery.

My book is a practical guide to finding better ideas, working them through with other people and turning them into something that actually happens.

I founded NoTosh in Edinburgh in 2010. Since then, we've helped organisations around the world think differently, make bold choices and turn those choices into action.

At Channel 4, one of my standout projects was This Is Central Station, a digital home for Scotland's creative community to share work, collaborate and find opportunities.

Through NoTosh, we created the complete Burberry Create programme, developed its learning methodology and delivered it to young people across international cities.

With thyssenkrupp, we helped create its Innovation Garage, bringing people across the business together to solve problems and develop new ideas.

For UWC South East Asia's new campus, we established the educational vision and specified the key design drivers connecting pedagogy with physical space.
